Wheel Throwing Class (Beginner) - Tuesdays in June

Join us for a beginner throwing class. During this course, the instructor will demonstrate how to throw functional shapes. This course prioritizes studio work time, and outlines the steps to finish a ceramic piece on and off the wheel.

The Digs encourages students to bring in personal interests. Expect a solid rundown of the basics, and instructor insight on your specific goals.

Beginner: Wedging Basics, Centering Basics, Throwing a Cylinder, Surface Decoration & Additions, Trimming Basics, Begin thinking about the possibilities of clay as a medium for creative and functional expression.
