Join local artist Laura Williams and spend the afternoon learning to create small scale clay sculptures. Discuss molding and forming your creations in addition to slips and decorating techniques for bringing them to life.
About Laura Williams
Laura’s work mirrors their life, creating in response to their lived experiences as a first generation English-American millennial immigrant. “As a teacher, I feel a sense of purpose in my work. I’m studying the medium in an effort to pass these ideas and findings on to those who attend my classes. I adore making and feel incredibly humbled and fortunate to be able to do so full-time. My artwork centers around story-telling and play. In my teaching practice I hope to encourage others to also connect with their own stories, interests and passions.”
