Ready to expand your knowledge of ceramic techniques? Join Big Feeling Ceramics in a 4-week class that teaches you the ancient style of Nerikomi.
Nerikomi—also known as neriage—was first created in Japan, and it involves stacking and cutting colored pieces of clay to form different patterns.
You'll learn to stain clay, make your own patterns, shape your objects, and refine designs.
NOTE: There is a week break between the 3rd and last session — this is meant to give adequate drying time for pieces between firing and sanding!
Nerikomi processes are more forgiving with patience <3
